GLASS CATFISH (Indian glass catfish, Kryptopterus bicirrhis; Cuvier et Valenciennes) — in length reaches 10 cm Its second name — som-Ghost — fish received for the transparency of his body. Glass catfish (Kryptopterus bicirrhis Cuvier u. Valenciennes) lives in South-East Asia, the Great Sunda Islands, Java, Sumatra and Borneo.
They always kept in flocks in the middle layers of water. Lonely fish out of the flock can die. Favorite food glass catfish — zooplankton and larvae of aquatic insects moving in the middle layers of water.
