Sea dragon – Trachinus draco
Sea dragon is the only representative of the family of the Drakensberg (Trachinidae) in the Black sea. Characterized by low elongated body covered with dense small scales. On the head of a sea dragon there are several spikes, the largest of them is located on the operculum and sent back. The first of two dorsal fins with a black spot, short, and consists of 6-7 spiny rays. The body color is gray or yellow with oblique bands on flanks, fins greenish, the tail on the falling edge of almost black. In the Black sea dragon lives everywhere known cases of arrest in the Kerch Strait.
